A tiny mark on the left hand of Edgar Matobato, the self-confessed hired gun looks identical to the tattoo that President Duterte has on his right hand.
President Duterte's tattoo is also present in presidential adviser Jesus Dureza's hand which was discovered by journalist Raisa Robles. President Duterte and Dureza were former schoolmates way back and they know each other quite well.
According to Dureza, the meaning of the tattoo, "We are members of Guardians Brotherhood. It's a fraternal group of people. It started as a military fraternal group. Then they also got civilians as members."
