Atty. Bruce Rivera, an avid Duterte supporter and considered as a social media influencer had slammed Senator Trillanes on his latest statement and defense of Edgar Matobato, a Senate witness during the hearing.
The Facebook post of Atty. Rivera drew cheers from netizens after he lambasted Senator Trillanes on his defense to Matobato. In his post, Atty. Rivera mockingly said that the new job description of Trillanes from senator turns to an attorney of Matobato. He added that Trillanes is doing this to change the perception of the people.
Senator Trillanes and Senator De Lima are the ones who supported Matobato as a witness in the Senate probe on alleged extrajudicial killings. So unsurprisingly, Senator Trillanes is making a way now to defend Matobato.
Atty. Rivera noted that how can Senator Trillanes change the people perception and even persuade them, when in fact, people don't trust him anymore.
