Maine Mendoza, a Kapuso star and popularly known as 'Yaya Dub' had tried a social experiment on September 17, 2016 by disguising herself as a 'taong grasa.'
Before getting into Eat Bulaga's Broadway Centrum , Maine Mendoza was already in her make up of being a beggar for her performance in Eat Bulaga, when suddenly she and her team made a bright idea of making a social experiment of who will be a good Samaritan that will help her.
Maine went into the streets of Manila to check how people will respond to her. Some ignored her, but some tried to help her and gave her assistance by providing money and food despite her appearance.
Two vendors had given the 'taong grasa' a lumpia and taho not knowing that it was Maine Mendoza. "Eat Bulaga" is looking for these two vendors for them to be given a reward for being a good samaritan.
Maine was touched to find out that there are still good samaritans nowadays who are willing to give a helping hand to the poor.
On her Instagram account, Maine posted a photo of her in her disguise with the following caption: “Achievement unlocked-ish! Mafufully unlocked ka din soon! #ootd”
