President Duterte Is Willing To Hire The Gurkhas -- One Of The World's Fiercest Warriors To Help The Filipinos In Fighting The Abu Sayyaf Group

President Duterte wants the fight with the terororist group, the Abu Sayyaf to end that he is willing to hire one of the world's fiercest warriors -- the Gurkhas from Nepal to help the Filipinos in fighting the terrorist group in Sulu -- the Abu Sayyaf.

Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol said in a Facebook post on Sunday that during a meeting with security officials and some Cabinet members that started Saturday evening and ended about 4 a.m. on Sunday, Duterte was so furious at the Abu Sayyaf’s terror attacks, especially in the wake of the bomb attack here on Friday.

Pres. Duterte told them that "If I have to hire the Gurkhas to help us fight the Abu Sayyaf, I am willing to do it."

“There’s no other option. These people are like germs, which must be eliminated,” Piñol quoted the President as saying about the Abu Sayyaf.
“You started this. I wanted to talk to you but you leave me with no choice,” Duterte said, according to Piñol.

Gurkhas have been an integral part of the British Army for almost 200 years. They were considered as one of the world's fiercest fighters who originated from Nepal.

The world-renowned Gurkhas became famous with their motto "Better to die than a coward." One of their trademark is the use of their traditional weapon as the kukri. Their kukri must taste blood during the battle or else they need to cut themselves.

Hiring Gurkhas under the administration of Pres. Duterte is indeed possible because of the international exposures of the Gurkhas helping different Asian countries during difficult times.

Right after the Davao City night market bombing, President Duterte is now more determined to destroy the Abu Sayyaf Group.
