LOOK: John Lloyd Cruz And His 1,100 Square Meters Home In Antipolo

John Lloyd Cruz, a Kapamilya actor, was initially against the idea of having his house featured in a magazine because he doesn't want show his space but eventually he agreed, he told YES! magazine.

John Lloyd wanted a French Mediterranean-inspired design for his 1,100 square meters home in Antipolo.

According to him: 'Ang gusto ko talaga, parang magmukha siyang bahay sa L.A., like French  Mediterranean. Sa loob, American iyong feel.'

The Cruz's living room has a cathedral ceiling 'to give more breathing space.'

Near the staircase are two doors that led to the powder room and entertainment room.

The dining area has a picture window and clear sliding doors that provides a picturesque view of the pool area and the lush garden.

It has a 10-seater narra dining table that serves as the room's centerpiece.

Aglo marble from Italy was used as the area's flooring.

The Cruz family opts to feast on home-cooked meals served on banana leaves, despite having a grand dining set.

The powder room is located under the staircase near the living and dining areas.

It is equipped with a faucet and sink, a urinal which costs P75,000 combined with a flush that costs around P35,000.

John Lloyd doesn't cook, but when it comes to the items in his kitchen, he was very hands-on.

He usually watches TV in the kitchen, which has an American manufactured double-door refrigerator, with ice-and-water dispenser feature.

Like the dining, this area also has a marble flooring, a veneer ceiling, and is filled with custom-made cabinets from Germany.

This one is his favorite spot.

'Gustong-gusto ko diyan, kasi it gives you a panoramic view of the house.'

This 80-meter guesthouse has its own two bedrooms, living room, dining, kitchen and barhroom.

The actor has also a four-feet pond located at the porch that serves as a home to a number of koi fish.

Initially, John Lloyd only wanted a lush garden in his backyard, but as the construction went on, he decided to put a swimming pool.

Following the advice of a feng shui expert, he had an infinity sign placed at the tiles of the pool.

Beside the pool stands Amanda, how he calls the replica of the ancient Greek sculpture Venus de Milo.
