A motorcycle rider named Kerwin Marilag was riding his motorcycle on Friday, September 30, along a busy street in Pasig City when he spotted an elderly couple clutching each other tightly while having a hard time crossing the highway which is dangerous for both of them.
Mounted with a GoPro camera on his helmet, it recorded everything what the the motorcycle rider has encountered. The old man was helping an old woman, probably his wife as they stood on the road's center island.
Without hesitation, the motorcycle rider made a U-Turn towards the other side and drove back to the two elderly couple, placing his motorcycle in the middle of the road to block upcoming vehicles from driving straight. Kerwin manned the traffic for a moment, signaling other vehicles to halt for a moment soon as the couple are safe and sound on the other side of the street. He commanded the cars back to continue driving to their destination before he drove back towards his own.
Slowly the elderly couple walked -- still hand in hand -- as they smiled at Kerwin, thanking him for his selflessness.
