Chito Miranda, Parokya ni Edgar frontman took on Twitter to apologize a fan he has elbowed after the said fan pushed his wife Neri Naig just to have a selfie with Chito.
According to the lead singer, he is just protecting his pregnant wife. "Sorry sa siniko ko kanina. Nabangga mo kasi asawa ko," Miranda wrote. "Hindi po ako masungit o mayabang, pero mas inuuna ko talaga asawa ko higit sa lahat."
Chito and Neri were mobbed by fans while in a mall, trying to take a selfie with him.
"Sa mga nandito sa mall, sorry kung di ako makahinto para magpa-picture. Kelangan ko alalayan maglakad ang asawa ko (To those who are here in the mall, sorry if I can't stop and take a picture with you. I need to guide my wife while walking). I hope you understand," Chito wrote on Twitter.
But for doing so, elbowing a fan, Chito hurt someone else, unintentionally.
Chito's post has drawn some criticism, saying that he did not have to elbow the said fan.
In reply, Chito wrote back: "Buntis asawa ko sabay babanggain ng lalake para lang magpa-picture sa akin? Buti nga siko lang eh. Buti nga nag-sorry pa ako eh."
