Sarah Geronimo Wins At The 2016 Classic Rock Awards In Tokyo

Pop singer Sarah Geronimo was named the Best Asian Performer at the 2016 Classic Rock Awards in Tokyo, Japan on Friday, November 11.

Sarah personally accepted her trophy during the awarding ceremony at the Ryogoku Kokugikan Stadium in Tokyo. 

The Classic Rock Roll Of Honour was established in July 2005 to honor rock music’s greatest icons, musicians and songwriters. 

Sarah performed with fellow singer Bamboo, as part of a lineup of artists that included the likes of Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry and Megadeth's Dave Mustaine.

Also performed in the event was Hollywood actor Johnny Depp. It was graced by top musicians like Jeff Beck, Joe Perry, Phil Collen, Joe Elliott, Richie Sambora, and Orianthi.

For the awards night, Sarah was styled by Bang Pineda's team called the Bang Bang Style Crew. Bang posted in his Instagram account Sarah's performance of "Anak" during the said event.
