Comedian-host Vice Ganda made a guest appearance on the radio show "Heartbeats" hosted by DJ Chacha and DJ Martin Concio on Monday night.
Vice Ganda made a prank call to his former manager Ogie Diaz and their conversation were broadcasted live on MOR 101.9 radio.
Vice called Ogie and hid under the name "Chinky" when asked for his name.
“Hello, sino ‘to?” was the first words uttered by Ogie soon as he answered the call. Chinky [Vice Ganda] asked if he can give a letter to conduct a caroling, saying they are from San Roque church choir around Blumentritt.
“Kanino niyo nakuha ‘yung number ko (Where did you get my number)?” a clueless Diaz asked.
“Doon po sa isang friend ko kasi nakita raw po niya ‘yung number niyo… sa pinto ng CR, replied Vice Ganda, who was trying his best to hold back his laughter.
Ogie felt a little suspicion and started saying slightly spicy, sarcastic words towards the caller. He said: “Ate, wag ganon ha. Kung sa pinto lang ng CR nakuha it means hindi tayo personally magkakilala.” Vice Ganda cannot contain his laughter when Ogie was finally losing his patience and said that, “Wag ako kuya, kasi di naman tayo magkakilala. Buti nga ini-entertain pa kita eh.” That is when Vice finally introduced himself and that he was just prank calling his co-comedian.
On Tuesday, Vice took to Twitter to apologize to Ogie and explain that what he did was just part of the radio show.
Vice Ganda's prank call became a trending topic on Twitter on Monday night. A video of the conversation was posted on the Facebook page of MOR 101.9 hours later and became a viral hit, gaining more than 648,000 views in only a matter of hours.
