A contact lens is a thin lens placed directly on the surface of the eye. They correct vision like eyeglasses do and are safe when used with proper care and maintenance.
Yesterday, January 28, Vice Ganda had a bad experience with contact lenses. He was rushed at St. Lukes Medical Center for wearing his lenses when he slept.
Apparently, the comedian forgot to take them off before sleeping. He woke up in the morning having a blurry sight. His contact lenses were dried up and when Vice tried to remove one from his eyes, it got turn.
Vice arrived late in a recent episode of "It's Showtime" noontime show with his eyes looking a little swollen. 'Madlang people' and televiewers were shocked.
Tapos, kaya kailangan kong dalhin... Nagpunta ako sa ospital."
Vice thanked the doctor who checked his eyes. The comedian seemed to be back in his normal funny and energetic self after the horrifying incident.
