Andi Eigenmann's Emotional Tribute and Final Farewell to Late Mother Jaclyn Jose

Andi Eigenmann's poignant tribute to her late mother, veteran actress Jaclyn Jose, has touched the hearts of many as she bids her final farewell.

In a heartfelt Instagram story, Andi penned a touching poem, seemingly expressing her emotions and memories of her beloved mother, who passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 2.

“Ika'y nasa araw, sa ulan, at sa hangin na aking nilalasap. Umaawit ng kantang puno ng pag-asa at ligaya,” Andi wrote, reflecting on the enduring presence of her mother.

The 33-year-old actress expressed a profound longing to reunite with her mother someday, envisioning their eventual meeting beyond the earthly realm. 

“Wala na ang sakit. Wala na ang takot. Makikita kita sa mga ulap, maririnig ang iyong mga bulong ng pagmamahal. Magkikita din tayong muli,” Andi wrote, conveying her deep sense of loss and hope for a future reunion.

“Sa ngayon didinggin ko muna ang iyong mga awit,” she concluded, encapsulating her journey of grief and remembrance.

During a press conference on Monday, March 4, Andi confirmed her mother's passing due to a myocardial infarction, also known as a heart attack. She expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and urged respect and privacy as the family navigates through their grief.

Jaclyn's remains were cremated, and Andi, accompanied by her sister Veronica Jones and brother Gabby Eigenmann, tenderly placed the urn containing her mother's ashes on a stand surrounded by a beautiful floral arrangement during the wake.

Andi's moving tribute, along with the touching moments shared during the wake, serves as a testament to Jaclyn Jose's enduring legacy and the profound impact she has left on her family and the entertainment industry.
