Doc Willie Ong once again faced a critical condition after being diagnosed with neutropenic sepsis, a serious complication caused by a low white blood cell count, according to his latest update.
On September 7, 2024, Doc Willie was readmitted to the hospital after suffering from severe fever, chills, dry mouth, and dizziness. His blood pressure dropped to 85/60, while his heart rate reached 128. His doctors became more concerned when his white blood cell count fell to 0.36, significantly below the normal range of 5-10.
It’s worth remembering that Doc Willie previously shared about his cancer diagnosis, which once threatened his life. In his recent post, he revealed another health challenge he had to endure. "Isa na namang pakikipagbuno sa k4m4tayan," said Doc Willie.
After six days of treatment, he was discharged from the hospital on September 13, 2024. Although he continues to recover from this ordeal, it is clear that Doc Willie requires close medical attention in the coming weeks.
He further mentioned that he now values each day and moment spent with his family and loved ones. He remains positive and grateful for the prayers and support from his followers.
Doc Willie continues to encourage everyone to take care of their health and consult a doctor immediately if any symptoms arise.
