An honest and homeless man in Thailand named Waralop, 44, had found a Hermes wallet containing THB 20,000 ($578) and a credit card that the owner didn't even realize it was lost.
Waralop had only nine baht (20p) and doesn't have job and money to buy food when he spotted the expensive wallet, but the homeless man still decided it would be best to return the wallet to its rightful owner. He went straight to the local police station, handed the wallet back with the money still inside and left.
Niity Pongkriangyos, the owner of the expensive wallet was so happy when police told him that they had found his wallet, he offered the homeless man a job at his factory in Bangkok as well as a place to live.
Waralop's new job comes with accomodation plus a 11,000baht salary. And not only did he get a new job and home. Tarika Patty, Pongkriangyos girlfriend, also personally accompanied Waralop to shop for new clothes and other necessities so that he can start a new new life all over again.
As for Waralop, As for Waralop, he is pictured inside his new room sitting on his comfortable bed and smiling at the camera, probably the first time he smiled again genuinely out of happiness in a long time.
