The flag carrier of Kuwait, the Kuwait Airways has an ongoing function that's why more than 200 OFW's will be needed. This is a good news for those seeking opportunity outside the country.
According to Khaled Almuaili, the Human Resources Director of Kuwait Airways: "At the moment, Kuwait Airways is undergoing a huge transformation where we're gonna really change the map of the airline in the region. We will focus on both groundhandling staff, engineering staff, dispatchers and security as well."
As of now, more than 200 Filipinos are working in Kuwait Airways. Filipino workers are their priority.
"We want to target the Philippines because of the education background, the language and the customer experience. The Filipino, they have a different kind of touch in relation [to others] and to give the customer experience to the employees in all terms compared to other nationalities," added Almuaili.
Kuwait Airways will also be needed traffic officer, transit officer, guest services officer, porter, baggage sorter, ground equipment mechanic and many others. Aside from the good salary, there is a free accomodation, transportation, food allowance and free ticket going back to the Philippines.
Assistant Labor Attache Angelite Narvaez said: "Ito ay isang magandang pagkakataon para sa ating mga kababayan sa Pilipinas na gustong mangibang bansa, especially dito sa Kuwait. Nangangailangan po ang Kuwait Airways ng 250 overseas Filipino workers at ang kanila pong lehitimong partner, Philippine agency ay Yaazeemir International Manpower Agency. Inaasahan po natin na ang 250 na slot na job order ay mapupunuan po natin."
Meanwhile, Khaled Hamdan, overseas manager of the Yaazeemir International Manpower Agency said: "I will be so happy if you come all kabayans. Try your best and good luck."
