8 Alternative Uses Of Listerine Mouthwash That You Didn’t Know


Listerine is a mouthwash product that really helps people to get rid of bad breath. Aside from curing your bad breath there are also some uses of Listerine you are not aware of.

Here are some other uses of Listerine:

1.       Stinky feet cure- The mouthwash contains astringent that is capable of killing the odour causing bacteria. All you have to do is to mix 2 parts of warm water in 1 part of Listerine. Soak your feet for at least 20 minutes.

2.       Cure for toenail fungus- Do the same mixture on the first one, you need to soak your feet in the solution. Repeat the application every day. 

3.       Blisters- It could be a treatment to blisters. Just soak a cotton balls in the Listerine and dab it on the affected part.

4.       Cough and Cold Treatment- gargle the undiluted Listerine to remove the severe cough and cold.


5.       Acne Cure- Dab the Listerine on the acne and it will be gone the following day.

6.       Lice Infestation- This can be used to eliminate the lice. Soak up your head and scalp with Listerine and cover it with a shower cap and let it sit there for 1 hour.

7.       Dandruff- Mix ¼ cup of Listerine and 1 cup of water and massage to the hair after rinsing it.

8.       Deodorant- Soak a cotton ball in the Listerine and apply it on your armpits. This will prevent your armpit from having unwanted body odor.
