A revelation that at least 50 celebrities allegedly included in President Duterte's drug list and 10 are suspected drug pushers came from incoming Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman Martin Dino during the press conference held September 24 in Quezon City.
Dino, chairman of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption and partymate of President Duterte in the PDP-Laban declined to name the celebrities. He said that some of those on the list have already taken drug tests.
Prior to this announcement, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Chief Superintendent Oscar Albayalde confirmed that the police does have a list of celebrities allegedly involved in drugs, but he underlined that it was still being validated.

The release of this list remains a hot debate in the showbiz industry. Robin Padilla and Vilma Santos were among those who said it would be best not to release it.
The NCRPO said that the names of the celebrities on the list may be released to the public depending on the decision of either President Duterte or PNP Chief Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa.
