Journalist Shares His Observations On The So-Called 'Scared Citizens' In President Duterte's Drug War

A lot of people, including journalists, ordinary people, even politicians, are saying that a number of 'scared citizens' are getting afraid of President Duterte's war on drugs, especially this has led to killings in various parts of the country.

In a Facebook post of Ira V. Panganiban, a journalist, he shared how people from the lower levels of society have accepted President Duterte's drug war. Ira wants these people, especially the politicians, to define just what they mean by these 'scared citizens' because based on his field observations and personal experience, he believes that many of the country's citizens have actually lost their fears because the criminals are the ones who are afraid now. He even specified some of his friends who have changed their lifestyle to support President Duterte's objectives.

"Susunod sila kay Duterte hanggang impiyerno kung kailangan dahil hindi sila binili ni Digong. Kusa ang suporta nila, may tatak ng pagmamahal at balot ng pag-idolo," Ira said on his post.

The journalist shared having friends with people living in a squatters area which he described as now safe because the drug addicts and criminals were afraid of Duterte. He opposes those politicians or other people who said that people are afraid of Duterte's action against illegal drug use and trade.

Ira even said that people are willing to follow President Duterte's order because they believe in our president.
