Moldovan-born sword swallower Alex Magala, 26, freaked out Britain's Got Talent viewers with his terrifying sword act.
Viewers were left stunned and were horrified when Magala performed his three minute routine. He climbed a pole-sword in throat, turning face down and sliding towards the ground at an insane pace.
The judges also visibly winced and covered their eyes as they watched Magala pass a sword through his mouth.
At the climax of his performance, Magala slid down a pole upside-down with the sword lodged in his mouth, and came to a stop inches above the stage floor.
Magala described his performance as "one of the most dangerous acts ever" on the hit ITV show.
While many viewers turned away in fear, perhaps they would have been less likely worried if they had seen his past performances.
In the show, Magala did not shy away from revealing he had been performing on the talent show circuit for some time, having previously appeared on America’s Got Talent, Ukraine’s Got Talent, Italy’s Got Talent (no clip available), France’s Got Talent and Russia’s Got Talent. He was even featured at the Sochi Winter Olympics in 2014.
