During the ongoing press conference where PNP Chief General Ronald 'Bato' Dela Rosa presented two suspects who already confessed that they were responsible for the planting of IED at the US Embassy, General Bato silenced the alleged bias reporter Mariz Umali whom the PNP Chief accused of discrediting him in public.
GMA news reporter Mariz Umali asked Dela Rosa about the recent statement of Kerwin Espinosa saying the confessed drug lord cleared he did not backtrack on statements against Albuera Police chief Espenido.
The PNP Chief Dela Rosa responded Mariz: Sino nag sabi na hindi daw nya binawi? Nakausap mo? Sinong reporter yun? Mahirap yan you are trying to discredit me in public.
"Magiging its Kerwin’s word or your reporter’s word against my word. Ako Mariz anong makukuha ko kungmagsisinungaling ako," Bato added.
