The actress-singer proved she isn’t too fancy for leftovers, taking home some delectable treats from the birthday celebration of her cousin Quezon City Vice Mayor Gian Sotto.
In a clip shared by cousin Ciara Sotto, the megastar can be seen with a white container loading up on finger food from the lavish spread for her family.
In her food grab, she even playfully referenced a famous line from the song “Bituin Walang Ningning” that has become a viral “Balutin mo ako” meme.
“Thank you for my ‘Balutin mo ako sa liwanag ng iyong pagmamahal,'” the megastar sang. “These are for my babies – my husband, my children,” the megastar added.
Ciara admired Sharon’s down-to-earth gesture of bringing home leftovers. “Shina-Sharon niya,” she said, alluding to the act of taking away food.
Sharon did not just swoop in uninvited, assuring everyone she’s got the green light. “Basta may paalam ako,” she quipped in jest.
The megastar extended her birthday greeting to Vice Mayor Gian and thanked him for the sumptuous feast.
