Mary Ann Van Der Horst, a 28-year old OFW worker had stunned the judges of The X-Factor Australia after performing the ground-breaking "Halo" of Beyonce. She received a total four yeses and an unusual standing ovation from The X-Factor Australia judges.
Right after her performance, The X-Factor Australia judge Red Foo stated that her performance was "spectacular." Coach Danii on her part said "it was brilliant" and she really loved the way Mary Ann performed.
Ronan Keating, the most popular judge of The X-Factor Australia, noted that he thought "Mary Ann is not serious and cannot sing but I was wrong." He further added that "You owned the song and that was incredible to watch."
Mary Ann fulfilled one of her dreams to kiss Ronan Keating, the favorite celebrity judges of the people in her workplace.
The performance video of Mary Ann on The X-Factor Australia goes viral online after it was posted on YouTube and shared on various social networking sites. Her rendition of the song "Halo" garnered more than 200,000 views on YouTube and shared thousands of times on Facebook.
